I found this letter while I was out car camping in the Middle of Nowhere, Nevada. And yes, that's the technical name of the location, given I'd left any named roads behind an hour ago at the point of discovery. 

Not that this exactly excuses me reading through the letter, and subsequently posting it online, but, you know, leave no trace. Whoever left it shouldn't have in the first place.

Plus! At the time of discovery I may or may not have gotten my car a bit stuck while attempting a very fun hill and really needed a distraction-break.

(I did get it un-stuck by the way.)

As for posting it online, well. Read through it. You'll see.

I wanted to leave a foreword for a reason though. This letter contains a ritual, and rituals are || not games. However, if you would like to interact with this ritual as such, I recommend performing only the second and third parts of it. You won't get the full effects, but you won't put yourself at risk of severe bodily harm either, and will gain the freedom to walk away at any point without consequence.
