:c so beautiful. really puts some things into perspective - i need to be kinder to spiders

(+2)

this means to me isolating a crucial part of yourself that extends to every person on earth, that inherent Want and Need for love and warmth. its obvious the protag doesnt lead a very fulfilling life. she has no hobbies or true friends... the only real friend she couldve had wouldve felt more human than anyone else around her at that point. :'-( the virus is so lovely and well meaning ,i love them so much.

Absolutely beautiful. I wish they understood each other better.

[Warning for SPOILERS below!]

The shapeshifter knew much about her, but it didn't know human boundaries, silent rules like territory in homes. It didn't know how the unusual can look like a threat.

She knew nothing about them, but she knew monotony. And when that monotony is broken by something, something that might as well be everything in the world for how far its influence seems to be, she knew fear.

When looking through her eyes, I was anxious. I was a bit scared. I felt bad for her with her job and increasing fear. I felt relief each time she defeated the latest intruder. I felt a bit of loss when she killed her, but I was mostly hoping she would be free from this after this.

And looking through their eyes. The sheer admiration. The sheer love. The unconditional adoration. And the innocence they interacted with the world with, learning what it was like to be alive and still having it tie into Her, with Her at the center of their world. And the way they just wanted it back, to be loved in the way they love her, unaware that they were terrifying her. Their increasing desperation, the way their love evolved with both positive and negative emotions, but was still ultimately love. How she was the most beautiful being in the world to them, in many ways. And knowing how it all ended.

You might as well have just stabbed me. AUGH. ;-;

To dogs, a tail wagging is a friendly gesture. To cats it is a sign that the other is mad. I don't think this metaphor fits them exactly, but I'm pretty sleep deprived right now so I'll pretend it works.

I also really liked the design of this game. It had a strong visual personality that fit the story so well. Just having black and white was such a good choice. I feel like it is significant to the themes but I feel like I've ranted enough.

You're also very good at story formatting. It flowed very smoothly. And you are such a good writer. Your descriptions painted richly despite the fact that there was just black and white, and the story itself is heartbreaking and wonderful.

Sorry if this comment sounds weird or something, this game just gave me a lot of feelings and I figured that it would be good to share them. And I'm sorry if I sound pretentious, like I said, I'm pretty sleep deprived right now.

!!! thank you so much!! this is a lovely analysis of Y O U, the tail wag is 100% the kind of thing i was thinking of. miscommunication between species with disastrous consequences. im glad you enjoyed it!

This was incredible. Horrific, tragic, and heartbreaking all at once. Totally reminds me of a Ray Bradbury type story. You've got something really special here.

(SPOILERS) The descriptions are incredible!? Especially the first half reminded me a lot of denpa art like Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Chime, and the B-side especially blindsided me. And the text formatting? And that outline?? Crazy. Great work!
